I got this stamp for my wedding next week, and I’ve started working on the cookies I’m going to use as favors. They turned out beautifully! I actually didn’t use the recipe that comes with the stamp. I used America’s Test Kitchen’s Best Shortbread recipe because I love those cookies, but I did use the chilling times and baking temp provided with the stamp. I used a pastry brush to brush flour into the crevices of the stamp and the top of the dough before stamping and had no issues! Only complaint is that it took a while to come, but I ordered in plenty of time!
Purchased Christmas cookie stamps for future baking. Love them all! Especially happy with the personalized one. Looking forward to making them for Christmas 🎄
I was excited to get the stamp it’s for my niece’s wedding. It was a little tricky as my dough was a tad sticky, but once I got the right texture, it worked out perfectly. I also made some ornaments with them for paper clay, and the ornaments came out beautifully.
These July 4th stamps were fun to work with! Easy to impress other cookie lovers! Once you get started with painting with the luster dusts, you will find your creativity exploding!! It helps to keep up with the consistency of the paints so they aren't too wet and not too dry, and it helps to have a really fine and pointy paintbrush. Chilling the dough and the cookies before baking is critical. They freeze well too. My next adventures will be to try a recipe with a bit more sweetness and to try using a gluten-free mix and gluten-free flour. I'm hooked.
It was so special to have a cookie designed with our church on it for our 150th celebration! It was a great company to work with to get it to look just like I wanted!
These 259th Birthday Cookies turned out amazing. Used her recipe first batch. Dough was fabulous for stamping but not sweet enough for some. So I used a different recipe 2nd batch. They were harder to painting but tasted amazing. Sold all but 4! Will definitely be buying more stamps!!
I received my cookie presses July 1st but did not have everything I needed to make the cookies (powdered sugar). I was too excited to try them out though…. And I really wanted peanut butter cookies after talking to my daughter, so I decided to practice with the press on peanut butter cookies. 😊 I totally expected the cookies to spread and not hold the stamp, but…. why not practice and have fun with it anyway.
I chilled my dough before embossing them and put the whole cookie sheet into the freezer for a few minutes before baking as well. I baked them at a little lower temperature than normal and a little longer since they were about 2.5 times the dough of my normal cookies.
No, the embossing didn’t stay as crisp as the sugar cookies will, but… they are still clear enough and so fun! I purposely left the edges rough, since I just used an ice cream scoop and flatten them with a jar lid first instead of rolling out the dough… they are peanut butter cookies after all. 😉
I made the sugar cookies next and, as expected, they held the stamp great!
I also made chocolate cookies and did them as I had the peanut butter cookies. Again, I expected them to spread but they still held the stamp pretty well... fun enough for family! Later I painted them. Not very good at that yet, partly do to not having a good brush, but it WAS fun!
Love them!
The recipe is great and after the first few cookies I realized how much pressure was needed to get the best raised letters. It was fun painting with luster dust, but you need to use a very fine, thin brush.
I had a great time stamping, baking and decorating these cookies. They were the hit of the July 4th cookout. People were taking pictures of them, commenting on how pretty they were.
I love, love, loved them. Cookie stamp quality was exceptional. The 3 different Thank You stamps turned out beautiful. The sugar cookie recipe was easy to follow and tasted great. I made them GF by substituting gluten free flour. You could not tell the difference. Everyone loved them. They thought I had them professionally made. After a few trial and errors (2 batches later & do not make the oven higher than 275) I was able to get the cookies looking perfect. Definitely follow the directions and watch the videos. It was my first time using Luster Dust and had a blast painting them. I used fine point paint brushes and found a painters palette was best to mix the colors in.
Thank you so much!! I will definitely order more.
I had a blast doing this set. I need lots of practice yet. I have several in my shopping cart i would like to purchase. I'm looking forward to the fall collection.
Thank you
Marie
This is my basket of cookies I made for a shower. I was so pleased with how they turned out for my first attempt. They are time-consuming, but they are not frustrating to make. The recipe was simple. I loved the fact of freezing them before baking so they did not spread. I will certainly be buying more stamps.
The cookie recipe was easy to do and tastes great. The designs held up well during baking. While the decorating was time consuming, it was worth the effort.
Cookie stamps are well made. Recipe perfect for these stamps. Took a little practice with the luster dust painting on the cookies. Make sure you have a fine tip bush to use. Follow the directions exactly and you will have success.
Enjoyed using the luster dust on my cookies. I was impressed how easy it was to use on my stenciled cookies.
Also impressed with your customer service. Thank you.
There is a definite learning curve with learning to stamp the cookies properly. Once I got the hang of it, I made beautiful cookies. Everyone who sees them is amazed. They think that the cookies are too pretty to eat!
P.S. I love the dough recipe. It tastes good and it’s the easiest dough that I have ever rolled out.
I must be honest. I was skeptical about the quality of embossment I would be able to get with this type of cookie stamp. I LOVE IT! The recipe included was perfect and my six-year old granddaughter said it was the best cookie she ever had (believe me, this girl knows her cookies ). We had such a good time making and painting the Mother's Day cookies for a brunch in the photo included. I purchased a Happy Birthday cookie cutter and had a custom one made as well.
For not being a professional i think they turned out pretty good. The stamp was very easy to use , i followed all the instructions, which were very clear and easy. I haven't used the thank you stamp yet or the cleaning oil, however, the round brush Im not a fan of...it didnt do to much. The stamps are a bit difficult to clean but well worth theextra effort. I love my new stamp and will be getting more of them but i definitly need some more practice. Thank you
Ordered the stamp to make cookies with my granddaughter. We are still experimenting with the decorating, but love the stamp! Easy to use and the wording when stamped comes out so perfect! Not to mention the cookie dough recipe tastes great and the instructions provided are so helpful. Will definitely order more!
Oh my goodness. It was so much fun making these cookies. I do NOT fancy myself an artist, but loved applying the luster dust. I am so happy to have found you.
I love these stamps. They are very warm and personalized from the heart. People we give these to are always amazed. I've given these to my sons and their families. They love these.
There is a small learning curve on even pressure and dusting the top with flour so it doesn't stick, but it was such a rewarding experience to see such a clear message which just jumped when highlighted with the pink shimmer powder. I love this!
The Thank You stamp was so easy to use, loved the detail! I wanted something unique to have opening night at an art show. I made several batches of the sugar cookie recipe that was included with the stamp, it’s so good! Very happy with the way they turned out. All safely tucked into resealable bags for the show.
Love this cutter and embosser! After a few trial and errors, the key was to dust the embosser WELL! Get into all the crevices. Then dust the dough and start the embossing! I used my rolling pin to make a good imprint. They baked up perfectly. The best part was painting the design. So satisfying. These darling cookies were very popular with my prayer group!!
I absolutely love the quality of the stamps for the embossed cookies. The directions are detailed and easy to understand. You can always ask questions and get an immediate response. This was the third time I used the stamps. It was not difficult. I enjoyed doing them. I’m new to luster dust and do not have the technique mastered yet. However, I have received some great tips to help me on my way!
Happy baking!
A huge fan of “Bake It Fancy”
This came out so perfectly! Loved that it came with a recipe that works with the stamp (it was tasty, too!) The recipe makes about 20 cookies if rolled 1/4 inch thick. It takes some trial and error to find what level of chill the dough needs to be to have the easiest time removing the stamp but it came out beautifully and was the perfect touch to my gifts this year.
I had reached out to Kevlyn to see if there was any chance I’d be able to receive my item in time to gift for Christmas. Even despite the busy holiday season and my last minute shopping, Kevlyn got me my item so quickly and in time for Christmas. It made the perfect gift! I will definitely be buying more from this shop!
I love my custom cookie stamp! Now when my Bulldog club has events, I can make custom cookies to bring, rather than spending a lot at the bakery. I followed the recipe that came with the stamp and cutter, and it was good except it only makes about 15 cookies. I will try it without the almond extract next time, and double the recipe. Looking forward to ordering more products in the future. Thank you!!
Really great quality, really great communication and really great customer service. There was some turbulence during the whole process but the seller was very responsive and made things right. I try out the recipe provided with the stamp for the first time as a test run/practice. Followed the recipe but didn’t follow exactly what the instruction says because I have my own habit. The result turned out great but definitely I’ll need to make some more adjustments to my baking process. My husband loves them:) Thank you Kevlyn❣️
They took a bit of practice (don’t wait until the last minute) but were so rewarding. Keep the dough very cold & don’t worry about using too much flour to keep the press from sticking. I discovered using my rolling pin to press the mold down worked perfectly. They taste great too! One recipe made 18 cookies. Customer service is excellent.
Fast shipping! Stamper and stencil worked amazing! I dipped the stamper in flour before each stamp. They were a great addition to my sugar cookies for our Christmas Party for our employees. A recipe is sent with the stamper and cutter but I used my own personal recipe.
I had so much fun with this! I actually made some pretty good ganache stuffed cookies and wrapped them as gifts so they turned out to be some pretty substantial cookies! Thank you :)
Love this cookie stamp! Our Christmas cookie deliveries were next level! Shipping for the stamp was super fast and the quality is excellent. Thanks Bake Bake Hooray!
The bake bake hooray custom stamp was surprisingly easy to use with the recipe that was included with the stamp. And...the recipe cookie was yummy too! So good that I'm giving them out as gifts. I was impressed that the included cookie cutter could be used two ways - either scalloped or straight round edged. Watch the informative video before you start - it gives some great tips. I would highly recommend buying this stamp!
I stumbled upon this company via a social media advertisement and decided to purchase three stamps. One for my family, and two for gifts.
This is officially my new favorite tradition and was such a hit for my family and friends who were gifted their stamps. The recipe is wonderful, and though it takes a little practice, it’s an easy technique once you get the hang of it. The cookies turned out beautifully.
Absolutely incredible and I’ll be buying these as gifts again! I’m looking forward to custom stamps or birthday/additional holiday stamps in the future.
I received the customized cookie stamp very quickly. I was excited to try it in my Springerle dough as that is usually what I make. The stamp worked beautifully and I was really happy with the resulting cookies. Thank you!
