The stamp worked great. I first tried it with my own sugar cookie receipe and the stamp worked but my cookie recipe rises during baking so the design wasn't as crisp as I would have liked. The attached picture is done using the strawberry cookie recipe on the Bakeit website. It worked exactly as it should. I have already ordered a second one for another family member.
I loved the packaging! The one I choose was shipped and received exactly the way the order said. I read through the recipe and directions completely before making cookies. Only took 2 tries to get the perfect press! They baked up perfectly, and I was so excited to begin the painting! Recipe made 28 cookies, each one perfect! Set up the painting, doing all one color first on all cookies, then moved on to next color. Finished with a light brush of a glimmery dust to enhance the shine, wasn't necessary, but impressed my friends! Everyone raved about the design, and the flavor of cookie! Will be ordering more presses soon! Can't wait for new Christmas designs!
My custom cookie stamp arrived and I’m very happy. It turned out exactly the way I had pictured. I gave a few cookies as gifts and they were very impressed. Keep up the good work!
Love the wooden stamp! Lots of flour and cold dough and the magic happens! Tried the original cookie recipe and then tried the strawberry cream cheese cookie recipe. Both were delicious! The luster dust defines the embossed design! And I loved working with rolled fondant with the stamp! Delivery was quick and ready to start building my Bake It Fancy stamp collection!
Wow! So much fun! I tried the strawberry cream cheese cookie recipe, once I loaded up the wooden stamp with flour and kept cookie dough cold, the results were rewarding and delicious! I also tried rolled buttercream fondant on top of some of the cookies using the wooden stamp. Love the clear wording with luster dust making them pop ! Can’t wait to try next stamp design! Thank you!
I love making these and giving them for a last minute gift.i bake the ahead and freeze them. Then when I need them I take them out and decorate them them.
I got this stamp for my wedding next week, and I’ve started working on the cookies I’m going to use as favors. They turned out beautifully! I actually didn’t use the recipe that comes with the stamp. I used America’s Test Kitchen’s Best Shortbread recipe because I love those cookies, but I did use the chilling times and baking temp provided with the stamp. I used a pastry brush to brush flour into the crevices of the stamp and the top of the dough before stamping and had no issues! Only complaint is that it took a while to come, but I ordered in plenty of time!
Purchased Christmas cookie stamps for future baking. Love them all! Especially happy with the personalized one. Looking forward to making them for Christmas 🎄
I was excited to get the stamp it’s for my niece’s wedding. It was a little tricky as my dough was a tad sticky, but once I got the right texture, it worked out perfectly. I also made some ornaments with them for paper clay, and the ornaments came out beautifully.
These July 4th stamps were fun to work with! Easy to impress other cookie lovers! Once you get started with painting with the luster dusts, you will find your creativity exploding!! It helps to keep up with the consistency of the paints so they aren't too wet and not too dry, and it helps to have a really fine and pointy paintbrush. Chilling the dough and the cookies before baking is critical. They freeze well too. My next adventures will be to try a recipe with a bit more sweetness and to try using a gluten-free mix and gluten-free flour. I'm hooked.
It was so special to have a cookie designed with our church on it for our 150th celebration! It was a great company to work with to get it to look just like I wanted!
These 259th Birthday Cookies turned out amazing. Used her recipe first batch. Dough was fabulous for stamping but not sweet enough for some. So I used a different recipe 2nd batch. They were harder to painting but tasted amazing. Sold all but 4! Will definitely be buying more stamps!!
I received my cookie presses July 1st but did not have everything I needed to make the cookies (powdered sugar). I was too excited to try them out though…. And I really wanted peanut butter cookies after talking to my daughter, so I decided to practice with the press on peanut butter cookies. 😊 I totally expected the cookies to spread and not hold the stamp, but…. why not practice and have fun with it anyway.
I chilled my dough before embossing them and put the whole cookie sheet into the freezer for a few minutes before baking as well. I baked them at a little lower temperature than normal and a little longer since they were about 2.5 times the dough of my normal cookies.
No, the embossing didn’t stay as crisp as the sugar cookies will, but… they are still clear enough and so fun! I purposely left the edges rough, since I just used an ice cream scoop and flatten them with a jar lid first instead of rolling out the dough… they are peanut butter cookies after all. 😉
I made the sugar cookies next and, as expected, they held the stamp great!
I also made chocolate cookies and did them as I had the peanut butter cookies. Again, I expected them to spread but they still held the stamp pretty well... fun enough for family! Later I painted them. Not very good at that yet, partly do to not having a good brush, but it WAS fun!
Love them!
The recipe is great and after the first few cookies I realized how much pressure was needed to get the best raised letters. It was fun painting with luster dust, but you need to use a very fine, thin brush.
I had a great time stamping, baking and decorating these cookies. They were the hit of the July 4th cookout. People were taking pictures of them, commenting on how pretty they were.
I love, love, loved them. Cookie stamp quality was exceptional. The 3 different Thank You stamps turned out beautiful. The sugar cookie recipe was easy to follow and tasted great. I made them GF by substituting gluten free flour. You could not tell the difference. Everyone loved them. They thought I had them professionally made. After a few trial and errors (2 batches later & do not make the oven higher than 275) I was able to get the cookies looking perfect. Definitely follow the directions and watch the videos. It was my first time using Luster Dust and had a blast painting them. I used fine point paint brushes and found a painters palette was best to mix the colors in.
Thank you so much!! I will definitely order more.
I had a blast doing this set. I need lots of practice yet. I have several in my shopping cart i would like to purchase. I'm looking forward to the fall collection.
Thank you
Marie
This is my basket of cookies I made for a shower. I was so pleased with how they turned out for my first attempt. They are time-consuming, but they are not frustrating to make. The recipe was simple. I loved the fact of freezing them before baking so they did not spread. I will certainly be buying more stamps.
Love this cutter and embosser! After a few trial and errors, the key was to dust the embosser WELL! Get into all the crevices. Then dust the dough and start the embossing! I used my rolling pin to make a good imprint. They baked up perfectly. The best part was painting the design. So satisfying. These darling cookies were very popular with my prayer group!!
You do have to follow the cookie recipe and keeping the dough chilled is key but when you do it is such a fun process! The cookies turn out great and taste delicious. Plus, decorating with the luster dust is a fun art project no matter the age!
I was a little intimidated at first but all my cookies came out perfect. I just followed all instructions without taking any shortcuts. Now I’m ready for my next cookie stamp
This photo is of my FIRST TIME making these embossed and luster dusted cookies! It was easier than I thought it would be. They were a hit at Easter luncheon and were delicious. Can’t wait to do some Mother’s Day designs!
my first experience using cookie stamps, was very helpful watching all the videos. I ordered the mineral oil & brushes, a toothbrush was also helpful to clean out stamp in between cookies, found that using flour on stamp for every cookie helped not stick. Also rolled out on pre cut cookie size parchment paper instead of plastic wrap, less transferring. I'll buy the dust colors for decorating next Easter. Thank you
I made the sugar cookies today. I was a little intimidated when I got it and read the instructions. However...with your tips and tricks, it was super easy. I sprinkled a little sugar on them when they came out of the oven. I am absolutely thrilled how they came out. I never had a problem, not even once. If you make sure the dough is cold and you flour the dough and stamp, it should work out 🙂 fine.
I also used your recipe. It will be my treat tonight so haven't tasted one yet. They are really for church on Sunday.
Thanks so much! I would definitely order another. Sorry, the pictures don't do them justice!
Watched the video and followed instructions and used recipe and everything worked perfectly. Very Happy. Do you have a surgar cookie recipe that works good with stamps?
The cookies turned out great and look just as cute in person as in the ad's. The stamps are well made, they came quickly and I'll now be sharing the cookies with my church family for Easter fellowship.
I purchased this stamp for Easter Treat Boxes I was making and it worked perfectly! The instructions included with the stamp were easy to follow and I was so impressed with how beautiful the cookies turned out. Very happy with the results!
Love, love these stamps. Your recipe is so easy to follow. I purchased my first stamps at Christmas, and I was a little nervous pulling the stamp from the dough. It took me a little while to get going, but now that I have purchased valentine and Easter stamps, I am a whiz.
Ordering and shipping are great!😊
I brushed oil on the stamp then dabbed it on a paper towel before stamping. Refrigerated 20 minutes and baked at 350 for 11 minutes. Very pleased with results as you can see.
I will order from you again.
I have not had time to use them yet, but words cannot describe how excited I am about next Easter to bake cookies for the whole family, the neighbors and everybody in between! These stamps are of such good quality and I can only imagine the work and love they’ve been made with!
Love the stamp and was really excited about the luster dust till it said I could only use it with alcohol. Im a Christian and don't buy any alcohol. So that was a waste of money. But the Cookies stamp is awesome
I received my cookie stamp, “He is Risen “ in time for Easter. The stamp is very nicely made and great quality. I generally am not a cookie baker so I did not use the Easter stamp this year. After reading the included recipe and instructions, I decided to “practice” until I feel can do my best since I was going to make these for dinner quests at someone else’s home.
I am looking forward to giving the cookie baking process a try and checking out the other available and future stamps.
Thanks for your product!
Love these stamps! I have had so many of my customers compliment these cookies! Thank you so much! I have already ordered more designs and a completely custom designed one for our Bakery!
